Beijing and Dunhuang, the capital of China and the Silk Road. Two incredible places and two very distinct photography opportunities. This trip actually started in Turpan, which is in the Xinjiang province of Western China. Wish I could have gotten more pictures of that area, but due to China’s horrific treatment of the Uygur and the huge amount of police and military in the area my opportunities were extremely limited. I’d recommend you look up what’s going on in that area. It’s shocking and needs to be stopped.
