So towards the end of last year I listed out a bunch of resolutions (photographic resolutions) that I wanted to accomplish in 2025 – which I promptly forgot about.

So now that I un-forgot the list let’s see what I’ve accomplished so far…

• Conneaut Ohio Reenactment – DONE!
• Lauer Farms Reenactment – TBD
• Motor City ComicCon – DONE!
• Michigan Renaissance Festival – DONE!
• Tilson Street Halloween – TBD
• Jackson Civil War Reenactment – SKIPPED
• Detroit Auto Show – SKIPPED
• Grand Rapids ComicCon – TBD
• Howell Balloon Fest – SKIPPED
• An airshow (maybe EAA, maybe one more local) – FAILED
• Use my star tracker to shoot some astrophotography – TBD
• Chesterfield Vietnam Reenactment (if it’s still going on) – SKIPPED
• Attend at least one car show and photograph it. – FAILED
• Go on more group shoots with the camera club. – DONE!
• Collaborate with at least one person on a project – TBD
• Canterbury Renaissance Festival – DONE! (It was pretty lame)
• Sell one picture. Just one would be amazing. – TBD
• Get a good portrait of each of my dogs (way more difficult then you would expect) – DONE AND DONE
• Get a good shot of my bottle of Bluesky Bourbon – FAILED
• Shoot at Romeo Lavender Farm – TBD
• Shoot the Dequindre Cut – TBD
• Shoot 3 rolls of film – DONE! Medium Format Even!!!
• Shoot the Ohio State Reformatory – FAILED
• Shoot the Michigan Nordic Fire Festival – FAILED
• Shoot the USS Edison in Bay City, Michigan – TBD
• Shoot the abandoned gas station on the way to the USS Edison – TBD
• River of time festival in bay city Michigan – FAILED
• Stoney Creek Metropark did a medieval festival – go shoot that – TBD

• Take a workshop – one focused on posing and lighting. – DONE X3!!!!!

So some hits, some misses, some that I can still complete. Funny how my priorities and goals change over the year.
