Paratroopers – Conneaut WW2 Reenactment 2025

So this year at Conneaut instead of spending all my time at the main event I went over to check out the paratroopers. That turned out to be a very good decision!

Two super cool facts:

  1. The C-47 you see in this pics was actually used on D-Day. It towed gliders, not paratroopers though.
  2. The first jumper – Secretary of State for Ohio (Ohio just has cooler politicians then Michigan).

One not so cool fact – boy do I need to get my camera a sensor cleaning… I think these pics turned out really cool though. I also shot a roll of medium format at this event, that’s being developed now so fingers crossed I didn’t screw that up!!!
