So I decided to try an attend an open studio night. It was pretty great!

This event was hosted by Copper Flair Photography, and I was really impressed with how well it was organized—and how much value it offered for the price. There were about eight photographers in the group, and we had three hours with My Darling Suraee as she performed with various props for light painting and fire dancing.

Much like with my camera club, I found the environment very welcoming. I also got the chance to practice using rear curtain sync on my flash (which I’ll write more about in another post).

Short, unfocused post aside—here are some stills I took from the first part of the night!
