Well it’s been not quite a week yet, but I’m still going strong on my networking goal for my business of photography class. I joined a few meetup groups and signed up for another workshop, so we will see how that goes. I also signed up as a volunteer to photograph the UP 200 sled dog races for Northern Michigan University.

Still need to post more on reddit, but I am keeping up with instagram and bluesky. Did have one person reach out on Bluesky about NFT’s (which I did not think were still a thing…) but that’s at least something! Don’t worry, not going to do anything with NFT’s.

It’s not related to networking but I did grab a copy of Streetwise, which is a book on Magnum street photographers. It did help me realize that not all of my shots need to be absolutely perfect, so over the next week or so I’ll be posting more of my previously unseen street photography work.
