Michigan Renaissance Festival

Went to the Michigan Renaissance Festival last month, first time I’ve been in like 12 years – and it was amazing! I can’t believe it took me so long to get around to visiting it again, but I’ve just have always seemed to have other things going on. When I went this year I tried to make it a point to focus on getting some shots of the cosplayers (I used to have a pretty good pirate costume and I love the detail and effort people put into it) could definitely see trying to do more cosplay photography in the future.

Here’s a couple of my favorites, I replaced the background with images I’ve taken while on other trips, but the actual cosplay is from the festival.

"A small, sneaky goblin stands at the entrance of a dark cave, its pointed ears twitching as it scans the surroundings. The goblin's sharp teeth and glowing eyes are illuminated by the dim light from the cave behind it, casting eerie shadows on its leathery skin. Its hunched posture and ragged clothing add to its mischievous and dangerous demeanor, while the cave mouth looms ominously, hinting at the dangers lurking within."
"A haunting black and white photo of a Wendigo standing ominously in a dense forest. The creature’s gaunt, skeletal figure blends into the shadows between the tall trees, its eyes glowing faintly in the dim light. The barren trees and fog that creeps through the scene add to the eerie, unsettling atmosphere, as if the forest itself is alive with malevolent energy. The monochromatic tones enhance the creature’s sinister presence, making the Wendigo appear as an ancient, ghostly entity lurking in the wilderness."
